Announcement: Thang Long Imperial Citadel is open free of charge to the public and visitors on 2 September 2015

ANNOUNCEMENT

Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre would like to make the following announcement:

In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, (2 September 1945 – 2 September 2015), Thang Long Imperial Citadel is open free of charge to the public and visitors on 2 September 2015.

Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre takes this opportunity to invite the sightseeing public to the following activities and exhibitions :

  • Banner and flower decorations all over the heritage site to create a lively and cheerful atmosphere.
  • Exhibition of a number of documents and items related to the resistance war in the revolutionary Building D67.
  • Heritage Photo Tour exhibition titled “Cultural Heritage – Connection and Convergence”.
  • Performance of ca trù singing and other forms of traditional culture such as the singing of  folksongs, including the Văn, and the Xẩm (Time: 14:00; Date: 2 September 2015).
