The Vietnamese New Year Programm under the theme “Pen Strokes of Spring” appeals strongly to children.

This morning 16 January 2020, nearly 500 schoolchildren Grades 1 and 2 of the Inter-level School Hanoi Stars (Ngôi Sao Hà Nội) took part in the Vietnamese Lunar New Year Programme at Thăng Long Imperial Citadel. The children eagerly joined the activities and games held on the heritage site, for example getting to know more about traditional Tết, wrapping glutinous rice cake “bánh chưng” and kneading dough figurines.

Donned in traditional costumes, the kids looked all the more lovely as they indulged themselves in the splendidly decorated space of the heritage site, with flowers in full bloom.
